If teamwork is what's going to make your missions work, you're going to need to communicate with your group! For that, we have introduced voice chat for all platforms directly into Borderlands 4.
How to activate voice chat and change options:
Open the Options menu
Navigate to the Network/Social tab and scroll down to Communication
-
This is where you can:
Enable voice chat
Disable voice chat
Adjust the chat volume
Enable Push-to-Talk
Decide which input/output devices you'd like to use
How to block or report another player in voice chats:
From the Party menu, select the profile of the player in question
If you're Friends, you can see them on the Friends tab to block or report them
In case you are in a group together, but not Friends, you'll find the username in your party to block or report them
How to report someone who's using chat in a way that's against our Code of Conduct:
We have an excellent guide with a walkthrough for reporting other players, so check it out here.
What about text chat?
Borderlands 4 doesn't currently have any text chat options. You'll need to hold on with both hands for good game control, so we're relying on voice chat this time around.
