Believe me, we want Vault Hunters to express themselves to the fullest extent, but when a display name breaks our 2K Code of Conduct for Fair Play, we gotta take action.
If you've found yourself riding through Kairos with a name change to something like "default" with eight random numbers (e.g., default12345678), it means our moderation team has found your name to be against our Code of Conduct and has been removed. You can read more about the reason why it was moderated in the Notice of Action Taken sent to your SHiFT Account's email address.
You can also reach out to the Support team directly for any questions, or if your name has been changed and you don't see a Notice of Action Taken in your inbox.
