PC: Game Doesn't Launch After Selecting "Play"

We're tracking reports from players that the game doesn't launch after clicking "Play" on Steam and Epic.

If you're all installed but the game isn't launching and isn't giving you an error message, try the following steps after you've checked to make sure you meet the System Requirements.

Ensure that Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) is installed.
Use System File Checker (SFC):
1. Right-click the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows Terminal (Admin).
2. Type
  sfc /scannow
  and press Enter.
3. Allow the scan to complete and restart your computer.
Run the DISM Tool:
1. Open Command Prompt (Admin) as described above.
2. Type
  DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  and press Enter.
3. This command scans and repairs corrupted Windows image files, which may fix underlying issues with DLLs.

If this step doesn't resolve your issue, contact support and provide your DxDiag and MSinfo files.
