Mad Ellie: Crash Occurs When Reloading Save Files Currently In A Nightmare Rift
Players who exit to the game's main menu while in a Nightmare Rift fight before reloading the same save file may experience a crash upon loading back into the game.
Workaround: This may be tied to a specific Fast Travel unit: Joining another player in a different area may resolve the issue.
